Family Holiday 2012
My folks arrived from England on the 25 July, and stayed for three weeks or so. They hired a camper van for 12 days and we travelled south of Brisbane down the coast, and back again inland. The last few days were spent back in Brisbane at my uncle's place.
Our route was Springfield to a roadside stop near Boonah. We went towards Canungra, and then out to Coolangatta. We then headed down the coast and spent three days in Pottsville before heading to Iluka via Lennox Head and Ballina. After Iluka, we went through Coffs Harbour and on to Bellingen for the night. We continued inland ftom Bellingen into Dorrigo, onto Armidale, before stopping in Glen Innes, which was freezing cold (-3c). The last night on the road trip was spent back at the Boonah roadstop after travelling through Tenterfield and Warwick. The inland drive was all at about 1000 metres or so, driving across the top of the Great Dividing Range.
Mum got a pressie too, but I couldn't find a photo. It was a really good holiday all round I think. Mum and Dad flew back to the UK, and we are continuing our travels north. Details are here
